<image:title>Amplified Stories - Her Legacy Is Love: Remembering Brianna Cooper Wales - That was Bri. The kind of person who didn’t just walk into rooms, she lit them up. She was a devoted mom, a loyal friend, a loving wife, daughter, sister, and a woman whose light never dimmed, even when life tried to dim it for her. Her impact lives on through her children, her family, and every person lucky enough to have known her.</image:title>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - Dolls for Dementia: How a Simple Doll Can Bring Comfort, Purpose, and Peace to People Living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia - My grandmother, Alice Stewart, was the sweetest woman I’ve ever known. She was pulled from a different time—gentle, kind, endlessly patient. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time with her. I looked up to her like she was a superhero. She made me feel safe in ways I didn’t even have words for back then.</image:title>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - Dolls for Dementia: How a Simple Doll Can Bring Comfort, Purpose, and Peace to People Living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia - There came a point when the only thing that could bring her back to us—even for a moment—was the comfort of her dolls. I remember walking up to her while she sat by the window for hours, clutching her baby doll in her arms. When someone placed it in her hands, her face would soften. She would smile. In her world, it was real. And for us, it was real too.</image:title>

<image:caption>I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was nine years old. I had just turned nine in 2008. At that age, you don’t really understand what a diagnosis like that means long-term. I didn’t take very good care of myself, but I also didn’t feel sick. My A1C was always high, but I was young, and you don’t see the damage happening inside your body when you’re a kid.</image:caption>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - A Treasure Valley Mom Searching for a Kidney So She Can Be Here for Her Daughter - In October of 2021, I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. That moment changed everything. My maternal instincts kicked in immediately. I knew I had to get my life on track — for me, but more importantly, for her. I started taking care of myself, managing my diabetes seriously for the first time.</image:title>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - A Treasure Valley Mom Searching for a Kidney So She Can Be Here for Her Daughter - Late in my pregnancy, at 34 weeks and five days, my fiancé found me unresponsive due to extremely low blood sugar. I was taken to the hospital and monitored for 24 hours. During that stay, doctors tested me for preeclampsia, and I did, in fact, have it. They decided it was safest to deliver my daughter early, at 35 weeks.</image:title>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - Lyla’s House: Building Hope for Idaho’s Autism Families - Some of the most powerful ideas come from the hardest moments. For Dana Batts, that moment came when her kids were removed from more than one daycare because staff said they “no longer had the resources.” Instead of accepting that answer, Dana and her husband decided to create the resources themselves.</image:title>

      <image:title>Amplified Stories - Lyla’s House: Building Hope for Idaho’s Autism Families - 1. Sensory — Creating Calm in a Loud World</image:title>
<image:caption>If you’ve ever seen Lyla’s House at a community event, you’ve probably noticed their sensory tents. These portable, calming spaces are designed for people with autism who may become overwhelmed by noise, light, or crowds. Inside, the lights are dim, the sounds are soft, and the atmosphere is built for peace. For many families, that small space changes everything, it means they can stay longer, enjoy the event, and not have to leave when sensory overload hits. Dana’s next dream is to turn those tents into a mobile sensory vehicle that can travel anywhere in Idaho, creating safe spaces wherever families need them most.</image:caption>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - The Fight of Justin Garcia: Strength, Family, and Living with ALS - Justin is a 35-year-old husband and father here in Boise, Idaho. A former football player for the Idaho Horsemen and a personal trainer, Justin lived for sports, fitness, and time outdoors with his wife Ashley and their five kids. Whether he was coaching, camping, fishing, or cooking up something new over a firepit, Justin poured himself into life. He was the guy you could count on for energy, humor, and living in the moment</image:title>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - Gr8ter: Hope, Healing, and a Community That Moves Together - Top of Tamarack is their mountain-sized reminder that progress is personal. The 2025 event is Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Tamarack Resort with staggered starts (bike 8:00 a.m.; run/hike 8:15 a.m.) from Tamarack Village. The course is an out-and-back on service roads; you pick your distance up to just under 15 miles round trip with roughly 2,900 feet of climbing if you take on the full ascent. Along the way, participants collect a small token at each mile, a physical “you did this” that makes the mental part feel seen. Two course features carry the heart of the day: Memorial Mile, where names of loved ones lost to suicide or mental-health struggles line the route, and Overcomer Alley near the summit, a stretch dedicated to people still fighting or living in recovery. It’s remembrance and resilience, side by side.</image:title>

That mix lived experience, consistent programming, and a culture of showing up explains why the community keeps growing.</image:caption>

<image:title>Amplified Stories - From Across the World to Boise: Welcoming Three Siblings into a New Home and a New Life</image:title>
<image:caption>This isn’t about “rescuing” children. It’s about stepping in when systems fail and children are left without safe, stable homes. It’s about giving them not just shelter, but dignity, structure, and love. Sometimes children arrive through pre-planned international adoptions. Other times — like this — it’s a rapid, unexpected placement. The legal guardianship might be temporary, but the emotional responsibility is very real. And it’s not just about the kids adjusting to a new country. It's about grieving the one they left behind.</image:caption>
