Season Of Stories Year 2

Last year, The Good Network and Peterson Chevrolet came together with one simple goal: to make the holiday season a little brighter for families in our community who needed it most.

What happened next was something special.

Our community responded with 103 nominations, each sharing the story of someone facing challenges, overcoming hardships, or simply doing everything they could to make ends meet.

Through the generosity of Peterson Chevrolet and the people who helped bring these stories to life, we were able to surprise 10 families with meaningful gifts and support during the holiday season.

But we also learned something important.

There are so many more stories out there. And so many more people who could use a helping hand.

That's why we're bringing Season of Stories back for Year Two.

Year Two. A Bigger Season of Giving.

This year, we're growing Season of Stories, with the goal of reaching more people, sharing more stories, and creating even more opportunities for our community to come together.

Because behind every difficult circumstance is a real person. A parent working multiple jobs to keep the lights on. A grandparent raising grandchildren. A veteran trying to find their footing. A family facing an unexpected medical diagnosis. Or someone who has spent so much time helping others that they've forgotten what it's like to receive a little help themselves.

These are the stories we want to hear.

Not because we're looking for the saddest story, but because we believe that sometimes, all it takes is one community coming together to change someone's circumstances.

And this year, we want to make an even bigger impact.

Know Someone Who Deserves a Little Extra Hope?

Nominations are open November 1 through November 20, 2026.

We're asking our community to help us find individuals and families throughout the Treasure Valley who could use a little extra support this holiday season.

Maybe it's a neighbor who has quietly been struggling. A coworker going through a difficult time. A family member who never asks for help. Or someone whose kindness and generosity deserve to be returned.

Whatever their circumstances, we want to hear their story.

Two Ways to Share a Story

1. Submit a nomination

Starting Nov 1st, complete the nomination form and tell us about the person or family you'd like us to consider. Share their circumstances, what makes their story special, and how a little extra support could make a difference in their lives.

2. Tell their story through a Reel

This year, we're also inviting our community to help spread the word through social media.

Create a Facebook or Instagram Reel telling us about someone who deserves to be recognized or could use a helping hand this holiday season.

Tag or Collab The Good Network and Peterson Chevrolet so we can find your video and hear their story.

It doesn't need to be professionally produced or perfectly edited. Sometimes the most powerful stories are simply people speaking from the heart.

Please make sure you have permission before publicly sharing someone's personal circumstances, especially when children or sensitive information are involved. If the story is private, we encourage you to use the nomination form instead.

The Power of a Community That Cares

Season of Stories is about more than holiday gifts.

It's about reminding people that they're seen. That their struggles matter. That even when life feels overwhelming, there are people in their community who care.

Last year, we witnessed firsthand what can happen when local businesses, neighbors, and complete strangers come together for someone they've never met.

This year, with an even bigger Season of Stories, we're hoping to create more of those moments.

We're incredibly grateful to Peterson Chevrolet for once again believing in this mission and helping us turn the generosity of our community into something tangible.

But we can't do it without you.

The next story that changes someone's life could be the one you share.

Nominations Close November 20, 2026
