When Music Meets Need: Boise’s Ripple Effect Steps Up
We at The Good Network focus on people in our communities doing good things — neighbors stepping up, artists using their gifts to make a difference, and organizations creating real impact where it’s needed most. One incredible example of this spirit in action is The Ripple Effect, an annual Boise music event where musicians of all backgrounds and styles unite to spread awareness and raise money for nonprofit support right here in our region.
Now in its 4th year, The Ripple Effect isn’t just another concert, it’s a community-powered benefit experience built around supporting local families facing immediate financial strain. This year’s goal is to raise $20,000 in direct relief to help families with critical needs like rent, groceries, utilities, daycare, and medical bills — real expenses that can make a huge difference when life gets hard. Within just days of announcing the campaign, 12 families had already applied for relief, and the number continues to grow, showing there’s a real need right here in our own communities. (Facebook)
The event is set for Saturday, May 23, 2026, and will feature performances from local artists alongside great food and drinks, all while raising funds that go directly to families needing support. It’s all ages, all community, and all about making a tangible positive impact. (Facebook)
