Shine For Justin: Community Detail Fundraiser

There are some stories that stay with you.

Last year, The Good Network shared the story of Justin Garcia — a Treasure Valley husband, father, athlete, coach, and friend whose life was turned upside down by an ALS diagnosis. What started as small symptoms quickly became a battle that has changed every part of daily life for Justin and his family.

Through it all, Justin has continued to show incredible strength, courage, and love for the people around him.

Today, our community has a chance to show that same love back.

On Saturday, June 6th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, local detailing companies, car enthusiasts, businesses, and community members will come together for the Shine For Justin Community Detail Fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting Justin Garcia and his family as he transitions into hospice care.

This isn't just about washing cars.

It's about helping a local father navigate one of the hardest chapters imaginable while reminding them they are not walking through it alone.

Justin's Story

ALS is a progressive neurological disease that slowly takes away a person's ability to move, speak, and ultimately perform basic daily functions. There is currently no cure.

Justin was diagnosed at just 35 years old. Since then, he and his family have faced challenge after challenge with courage and resilience. Through every setback, they have continued to inspire those around them with their strength and determination.

If you've ever met Justin, you know he's the type of person who shows up for others. This fundraiser is our chance to show up for him.

Whether you come for a car wash, enter the raffle, make a donation, or simply share this event, every act of support matters.

Let's help carry some of the weight.

Let's show Justin and his family what community looks like.
