How You Can Help Finley: A Community Standing Together

The Good Network | July 2026

Earlier this week, we shared Finley's story with you. Finley Domy, a bright and beloved little boy from Star, Idaho, was recently diagnosed with DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), a rare and inoperable brain tumor located in the brainstem. His parents, Dallas and Alex, and his baby brother, Ren, have had their world turned upside down. Dr. Meeker and his team at St. Luke's are working tirelessly on a care plan for Finley, including presenting his case to a national board on August 20th in hopes of finding more extensive treatment programs.

Since we shared Finley's story, the response from our community has been nothing short of incredible. Local businesses, friends, and neighbors have rallied together to organize fundraisers, events, and meal deliveries — all to surround this family with love and lift the financial burden so Dallas and Alex can focus entirely on what matters most: being present with Finley.

Whether you can give $5 or $500, book a haircut, buy a hat, or drop off a dinner, there is a way for everyone to help. Here is everything happening right now, and how you can be part of it.

1. Donate to the GoFundMe

The official GoFundMe, "Standing Together with Dallas, Alex, Finley, and Ren," has a goal of $100,000 and has already raised over $63,000 thanks to more than 600 generous donors. Every dollar goes directly to the family to help cover:

•Advanced treatments, targeted therapies, and second opinions from neuro-specialists

•Daily living expenses, utilities, and housing costs to keep the household stable

•Specialized home care, comfort management, and necessary medical equipment

•Travel expenses, parking, and gas for frequent trips to the clinic

Dallas will not be returning to work, and Alex is taking an extended period of time off so they can devote themselves fully to Finley's care. Your donation gives them the financial breathing room to do exactly that.

If you're unable to donate, sharing the link with your own network makes a real difference too.

2. Wear Your Support: Finley Fierce & Finley Strong Gear

There are two ways to rep Finley around town and every purchase goes directly to the family.

Finley Fierce Hats, Shirts & Hoodies

The wonderful crew at Brigade Screen Printing has created custom "Finley Fierce" gear, and the first snapback hats are out now! The design features Finley's battle cry in bold red and yellow, and shirts and hoodies are also available to help support the family. These are going fast, so don't miss your chance to grab yours and show your support around town.

A huge thank you to Brigade Screen Printing, Tara Wright, and Shawn Gregory Wright for making these happen!

Finley Strong Shirts from His Preschool Teachers

Finley's teachers at Willow Tree Learning Center in Star have created their own "Finley Strong — Support Our Super Hero!" shirts, with all proceeds going to the Domy family. Shirts are $25 and come in kids' sizes 5T and 6T and adult sizes S through 2XL. Payment is via Venmo (@mshirley17), and you can place an order through the link in the Willow Tree Learning Center's bio on their Facebook page.

What a beautiful way for the people who know and love Finley best to stand behind their super hero.

•Drop-off: Any time after 1:00 PM, at the front door (far enough back for the security door to open)

To Everyone Fundraising on Their Own: Thank You

Beyond the events listed here, we know there are so many more acts of generosity happening quietly across the community, coin drives, charity drives, and personal fundraisers that friends, neighbors, coworkers, and local businesses have taken upon themselves to organize. We can't possibly list them all, but please know: the family sees you, and every single effort matters. To everyone who has stepped up in their own way to raise money and spread the word for Finley, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

If you're organizing a fundraiser for Finley and would like it shared, reach out to us and we'll help get the word out.

Every Bit of Help Matters

This is what community looks like. From screen printers and barbers to tattoo artists, musicians, and home cooks, people all across the Treasure Valley are showing up for Finley and his family, and you can too.

If you can't attend an event or make a donation, please share this post. Getting the word out helps more than you know.

Finley, we are all standing with you. Stay fierce.
