When local mom and veteran Dana Batts couldn’t find the right resources for her kids with autism, she decided to build them herself and Lyla’s House was born. Through sensory spaces, safety training, and education, this Idaho nonprofit is helping families feel seen, supported, and understood.

Meridian’s Potato Days Festival is back this September with food, music, and plenty of Idaho spirit—but this year, the stakes are even higher. One lucky festivalgoer will drive away in a 2025 Ford F-150 STX 4WD SuperCrew, with every entry helping ensure Idaho kids get the chance to play.

Every summer, B.A.C.A.’s Bug Run brings bikers and the community together to raise funds for abused children—offering them safety, joy, and a reason to smile again. This year’s ride ends with a blowout bash at the Roadhouse in Emmett, featuring live music, raffles, and NASCAR driver meet-and-greets.
